Effective date: 8 October 2026 · Version: 1.0
This policy is part of our Terms of Service and applies to all paid Vaultmastr plans and metered charges.
1. Billing basics
- Paid plans are prepaid by invoice in US dollars (Australian customers may be invoiced in AUD), monthly (or annually where an annual plan is offered) depending on the plan you choose.
- Nothing renews automatically and we hold no card or bank details of yours. We send you an invoice; your plan starts or continues when the invoice is paid.
- We accept bank transfer (Australian BSB/PayID or international transfer) and selected cryptocurrencies. Payment details and the payment window are on each invoice. Bank, conversion and network fees are yours.
- Any applicable taxes (such as GST for Australian customers) are shown on the invoice.
- Metered features (for example per-post charges passed through from a platform's paid API) are shown on your billing page as you use them and added to your next invoice.
2. Renewing, lapsing and cancelling
- About 7 days before your paid period ends we email a renewal invoice. Pay it and your plan continues without interruption.
- If it is unpaid when the period ends, your account drops to the free tier (if available) or read-only access: you can still sign in, view and export your data, but paid features are paused. Pay the invoice within 30 days and everything resumes where it left off.
- To cancel, simply don't pay the renewal invoice, or email [email protected] and we'll stop sending them. There is no cancellation fee and nothing to "turn off".
- To close your account entirely and delete your data, see the Terms of Service, section 9.
3. Refunds
3.1 Change of mind
Plan fees are generally non-refundable, including for partial periods or unused features. If you contact us within 7 days of paying your first invoice and have not materially used the Service, we may refund it as a courtesy.
3.2 Our fault
If the Service is unavailable or materially not working for an extended period because of something on our side, contact us. We will fix the problem, extend your plan period, or refund a fair proportion of the fees for the affected period, your choice where reasonable.
3.3 Duplicate or mistaken charges
We refund genuine duplicate or mistaken charges in full. Contact us within 30 days of the charge.
3.4 Account terminated for breach
If your account is suspended or terminated because you breached the Terms of Service or the Acceptable Use & Content Policy, including any involvement with illegal, underage or non-consensual material, no refund or credit is given for any unused plan period or metered usage.
3.5 Metered charges
Metered usage that has already been consumed (for example a post that was sent to a platform) is non-refundable.
3.6 Cryptocurrency payments
Crypto transfers are irreversible. If a refund is owed on a crypto payment, we refund the dollar amount shown on the invoice you paid, by bank transfer or in the same asset at our choice, not the asset's current market value. Payments sent to the wrong address, in the wrong asset or outside the invoice window cannot be recovered by us.
4. Your rights under Australian Consumer Law
Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. If the Service has a major failure, you are entitled to a refund or to cancel and be compensated for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage; for other failures you are entitled to have the problem fixed in a reasonable time. Nothing in this policy limits those rights. Consumers in other countries may have similar non-excludable rights, and nothing here limits them.
5. How to request a refund
Email [email protected] from your account email with the subject "Refund request", your account name, the date and amount of the charge, and the reason. We respond within 5 business days. Approved refunds are paid by bank transfer to an account in your name (or as described in 3.6 for crypto) and may take 5–10 business days to arrive.
Same amount, same currency. A refund is the exact amount you paid, in the currency of your invoice: if you paid US$39, you get US$39 back. We do not adjust refunds for exchange-rate changes since you paid, in either direction, and any bank or conversion fees on your side are yours.
