Browser Extension Privacy Policy

Effective date: 8 October 2026 · Version: 1.0

This policy covers the Vaultmastr Assist browser extension ("the extension") published by RW Media Pty Ltd (ABN 82 623 586 372), the operator of Vaultmastr. It supplements our general Privacy Policy, which applies to your Vaultmastr account as a whole.

In short: the extension is a side panel that fills in a video platform's upload form with details from your own Vaultmastr scene library. It talks only to vaultmastr.com and to the page you have open. It has no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and it does not read or send anything from sites other than the upload pages it is built for.

1. What the extension does

When you open a supported platform's upload or edit page, the extension shows your Vaultmastr scenes beside the form. When you choose a scene, it fills the form's fields (title, description, tags, categories, performers and the like) with that scene's details, lets you copy or download the scene's files for upload, and lets you mark the scene as posted on that platform. Nothing happens on a page until you pick a scene and press a button.

2. Information the extension handles

  • Your Vaultmastr access token: a token you create on your Vaultmastr profile and paste into the extension's settings. It is stored in the browser's extension storage on your device and sent only to vaultmastr.com, as an authorization header, to load your scenes. It is never sent to any other site.
  • Your scene data: titles, descriptions, tags, categories, performer names, release dates, file links and posting status, fetched from your Vaultmastr account over HTTPS when you open the panel. This is your own content, loaded at your request, and held in memory only while the panel is open.
  • The address of the active tab: the extension reads the current tab's URL to work out which platform's form (if any) is open, so it can show the right fields. It does not record or transmit your browsing history.
  • The upload form on the page: to fill fields, the extension reads the form's structure on the supported platform's upload page and writes your scene details into it. It can also, when you ask it to, read the platform's own list of categories or tags from that form so it can show you only the options the platform accepts; those lists are saved to Vaultmastr as settings for that platform (see below).
  • "Posted" marks: when you tick a scene as posted, that status is saved to your Vaultmastr account. Nothing is posted on any platform by the extension itself; you submit the platform's form yourself.
  • Downloads: files you choose to download (a trailer, a thumbnail) are fetched from vaultmastr.com and saved to your computer through the browser's normal download mechanism.

The extension does not collect: passwords or login details for any platform, cookies, page content from sites other than the supported upload pages, or keystrokes. It does send your Vaultmastr account the extension's version and the browser and operating system it runs in with each request, so we can see which builds are in use and support you; nothing about your browsing is included.

Platform category and tag lists read off an upload form are shared settings for that platform (the lists are the same for every member), and only the Vaultmastr team's own extension can update them.

3. Permissions, and why

  • storage: remembers your Vaultmastr address and access token.
  • sidePanel: shows the panel beside the page.
  • tabs: reads the active tab's address to detect which platform's form is open.
  • downloads: saves scene files to your computer when you ask.
  • debugger (Chrome/Brave only), used only for "trusted typing": on some platforms' forms, values typed by a script are ignored unless they arrive as real keystrokes, so the extension briefly attaches to the tab to type into the field you asked it to fill, then detaches. The browser shows a notice while this is happening. It is not used to inspect, record or alter anything else.
  • Host permissions: the extension runs only on the specific upload and edit pages of the platforms it supports (listed in the extension's manifest), and on vaultmastr.com. It does not request access to all websites.

4. Where data goes

Data moves in two directions only: between the extension and vaultmastr.com (your account, over HTTPS), and between the extension and the platform page you have open (filling its form). No data is sent to us or to anyone else by the extension beyond your own Vaultmastr account. We do not use the extension to collect information about the platforms you use.

Information held in your Vaultmastr account is covered by our general Privacy Policy.

5. Storage and retention

The access token stays in your browser's extension storage until you remove it in the extension's settings or uninstall the extension. "Posted" marks are saved to your Vaultmastr account (section 2), not in the browser. Scene data is not stored by the extension; it is re-fetched from your account each time.

6. Children

The extension is part of a service for adults in the adult-content industry. It is not intended for, and must not be used by, anyone under 18.

7. Changes

We will post any changes to this policy here and note the new version at the top. Material changes will also be announced in the extension's update notes.
