Turn on age checks with Didit

The last setup step. Your site goes live when it's done.

Visitors see "This site isn't live yet" until this step is done. You can still see your site while you're logged in to it.

  1. Make a free account in the Didit business console.
  2. Go to Workflows, make a new workflow and choose Age estimation. Save it and copy its workflow ID.
  3. Make a second workflow for ID verification and copy its ID. This is for the United States.
  4. Copy your API key from the console's API settings.
  5. In Website setup, paste the Didit API key, Face scan workflow ID and Photo ID workflow ID.
  6. Click Test and save.

"Test" starts a check nobody finishes, so a wrong key shows up now, not when a visitor tries.

When it's done, the progress ring says All done. Your website is live.

Which countries get which check

Your site starts on our template: a face scan in countries with age check laws for adult sites, photo ID in the United States, an 18+ tick everywhere else. It's a starting point, not legal advice. You're responsible for checking it suits your visitors. Change it on your site under Appearance → Age verification.
